These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between South West Car and Commercial (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our services, you accept these terms in full.


2. Services Provided


We provide the following mobile services:


• Routine Servicing & Maintenance

• Mobile Diagnostics & Fault-Finding

• Mechanical & Electrical Repairs

• Pre-MOT & MOT Preparation Inspections

• Fleet & Vehicle Health Checks

3. Service Commitments


3.2 Routine Maintenance & Bookings


• Routine working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• Last‑minute requests will be accommodated where possible but are not guaranteed.

• All bookings must be emailed for correct scheduling.


3.3 Diagnostics, Inspections & Repairs


• Diagnostics or inspections are required before repair work.

• Repairs are invoiced separately, including parts and consumables.

• Unsafe vehicles or locations may result in work refusal.


4. Availability


• Routine Maintenance: By appointment only. 


5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:


• Provide accurate location details.

• Ensure vehicles are available at the scheduled time.

• Provide a safe and accessible working area.

• Cancel bookings at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.


6. Liability & Indemnity


• Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

• We are not liable for indirect losses (downtime, loss of earnings, deadlines, etc.).

• Customers indemnify us against issues arising from misuse, pre-existing faults, or unsafe conditions.

• No liability is accepted for corrosion, hidden defects, or previous poor workmanship.

7. Parts Ordering, Cancellations & Returns


• Parts cannot be cancelled or refunded once ordered unless faulty.

• Customers remain liable for part costs if repairs are cancelled.

• Supplier delays are outside our control.


8. No Warranty on Customer‑Supplied, Used, or Aftermarket Parts


• No guarantees or liability are provided for used, aftermarket, or supplied parts.

• Failures of such parts remain the customer’s responsibility.

• Extra labour may be required if replacement is needed.


9. Previous Repairs & Modifications


• We do not accept responsibility for faults caused by previous repairs or modifications.

• Additional labour may be required to correct historic issues.


10. Safety & Environmental Compliance


• We comply with all UK safety and environmental regulations.

• We will not carry out unsafe, illegal, or environmentally harmful work.

• Illegal modification requests will be refused.


11. Safe Working Conditions


Work may be refused if the environment is unsafe due to:

• Traffic hazards

• Poor lighting

• Severe weather

• Insufficient space

• Dangerous or unstable ground

  • Road Friendly Suspension veriables


12. Right to Refuse Service


Service may be refused or stopped if:

• The customer is abusive or uncooperative.

• The vehicle is unsafe.

• Payment terms are not met.

• The working area is hazardous.


13. No Courtesy Vehicles Provided


• As a purely mobile service, we do not offer courtesy cars or alternative transport.

• Customers must make their own arrangements.


14. Media, Photography & Social Media Content


• We may film, photograph, or record work for marketing, training, or social media.

• Identifiable details (plates, business names) will be avoided unless consented or obscured.

• Filming focuses on tools, repairs, and general mechanical work.

• By using our services, you consent to non-sensitive media being captured.

• Customers may opt out by notifying us in writing before work begins.

• Footage captured prior to withdrawal of consent may be retained unless it contains identifiable data.


15. Complaints & Disputes


• Complaints must be raised within 7 days of work completion.

• We aim to resolve issues fairly.

• Disputes may be escalated via mediation or legal channels under UK law.


16. Amendments to Terms


South West Car and Commercial reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Significant updates will be communicated prior to implementation.
